Spruce up your beat-up sneakers using an old toothbrush and some basic white toothpaste (non-gel). Mix it with a tad of Vaseline. This little cleaning trick is perfect for white-soled sneakers. Squirt your toothpaste onto your brush and start scrubbing those grubby spots. Mix in a small amount of Vaseline for some extra shine. Let it sit on your shoes for about ten minutes, then wipe it clean with a damp towel. Repeat if needed.

Save your plastic bottles and make them into (1) planters by cutting them in half and using the bottom part to grow herbs or flowers.
(2) Make a simple bird feeder by cutting small openings and filling them with birdseed. (3) Use them as storage containers for small items like nails and screws. (4) Create a DIY watering can by poking holes in the cap, perfect for your garden.  (5) Make them into Decorations by filling them up with fairy lights, then add them in your home or garden. How fun!!!

 

Here is a “self-cleaning” trick for the microwave!  Heat a full glass of water into your microwave to a steamy boil, then simply wipoff the gunk with ease. Why it works: The steam loosens the gunk and allows you to wipe it clean.

 

 

Got a wobbly table or bench? Squirt some hot glue on a coin and place it under the wobbly leg. If it’s still not steady, add more coins until it’s rock-solid. This trick won’t rob the bank!

 

Need to microwave more than one item, but they don’t fit at the same time?  Just grab a mason jar or any glass kitchenware you’ve got lying around. Place that second dish on top of it inside your microwave.
